MICHAEL RENK

In 1997, Michael Renk and a friend produced electronic music for the first time. This became his new hobby, pursuing it more or less persistently over the years.
He founded ‘musicartistry.de‘ in 2002, a website intended to be a platform for the works of young unknown artists. Right after the site’s launch, the tracks of new artists like Manuel Fuentes or Michael Stapf could only be offered as 30-second- snippets in 56kb quality.This hardly satisfying situation was improved in 2004 by launching the netlabel ‘Musicartistry Rec.’.
Some of the artists involved already published some of their music on vinyl.
