Georg Neufeld listen to all kinds of music… deep house, german deep minimal house, tech house, chicago house, newyork deep house, dub house, jazzy house, ambient house, japanese experimental house, soulful house, electro house, oldschool detroit house, deep techno, sophisticated philly sounds, deep miami stompers, british sexy deep minimal shit, ex-d&b and hiphop producers doing this smacky jackin house and respect to the fathers.
SHORT BIO :
Georg Neufeld was born and raised in eastern Switzerland in 1973.
When he was six years old, he started to play the piano and soon his first piano solo concert in 1984.
In 1982 he also started to play the drums and bought his first synth, Roland D-50 in 1986.
The young talent played his first gig as keyboarder with self-composed material in 1987.
After three years he began to work in studio as keyboarder and drummer.
During the early 90’s he went touring around Europe as drummer of “Good God”.
Finally comes his first DJ residency in 1992 spinning Acid Jazz, Hip Hop and Deephouse.
In 1993 he became resident DJ of Conrad Sohm in Austria and
in 1994 he played his first huge gig at Futurscope II in Zurich (CH).
His first gig in NY was in 2003 at C.B.G.B.’s.
In 1995 Georg began his producer career, and after many experiences he released his first 12” in 2003,
the “Pushin EP” together with Alessandro Crimi aka DJ Acidrain on his own label Handhouse Records.
In 2004 he did mixing engineer and remixer for Freda Avoris Goodlett and Katy Winter.
In 2005 Georg did mixing engineer for Mephisto System.
Actually he uses a lot of synths, sequencers to compose, edit and arrange his music.
