Morpho

I also played (with live performances) in an African percussion band, a song band, in a Batucada, a sound-system, and in a music group with children and doubled keyboard playing for live Reggae bands (Mina indah, Rasta Bigoud,…).
Thanks to my great experience in all kinds of live performances, I ‘d like, now, to build my own live project with my dub songs.
These tracks are the result of an extra-musical work in progress finding its roots in subjects I am interested in (such as voodoo, morphos, amazonia, penal colony) mixed with memories of some places I used to live in (Guiana, Tahiti, Britanny) and with notorious musical influences
(Rythm & sound, Aphex Twin, Mad prof,…and many others.)
The people who took part in this project :
-Bess: Assin band’s singer. From Benin. He has studied at the Music Academy in Senegal. Being a professional musician for 20 years (dance, percussion, singer, reggae, afro), He sings in “Rojo”, “projector” and “zebra”.
-Bilor: Songwriter and singer. From Martinique, she recites a Creole proverb in “tchee tchee” and “zebra” . She drew her inspiration from a singer and great poet Joby Barnabé.
-Vincent Le Bihan : From Britanny. Flute and saxophone player, multi instrumentalist. He has a long career in the world of jazz. Now he’s playing solo with ambitious projects. He plays on “tchee tchee” and “Rojo”.
